From 8 to 11 September 2025, members of the CoCoMag team from the University of Seville took part in the 27th International Conference on Soft Magnetic Materials (SMM27), held in Turin, Italy.
The conference brought together researchers from around the world to discuss the latest advances in magnetic materials and applications, providing a key platform for knowledge exchange within the scientific community.
The CoCoMag project was represented by Prof. Victorino Franco, Dr. Jia Yan Law, and Zhe Cui, who delivered both oral and poster presentations on their latest research. In particular, Zhe Cui, presented his high-throughput DFT approach to discovering compositionally complex alloys, an innovative contribution within the CoCoMag framework that is helping to accelerate the discovery of new functional magnetic materials.
At CoCoMag, we have made the involvement of early-career researchers a priority. Their contributions drive scientific progress and ensure the long-term sustainability of innovation in magnetism and materials science.
