On 26 September 2025, the University of Seville, partner of the CoCoMag project, took part in the European Researchers’ Night, the annual event that brings science closer to citizens across Europe.
Throughout the evening, the team engaged with participants of all ages, offering hands-on demonstrations and interactive explanations on magnetism and the magnetocaloric effect. Visitors discovered how these physical phenomena can open new possibilities for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies, central to the CoCoMag project’s research.
The activity attracted enthusiastic interest from the public, sparking conversations about how advanced materials and magnetic systems can contribute to sustainability and innovation. For the University of Seville researchers, it was a rewarding and inspiring experience, an opportunity to make complex scientific ideas accessible, engaging, and fun, while sharing the real-world impact of their work.
