A recent publication led by researchers from the University of Seville within the CoCoMag consortium has been selected as the cover story for the second issue of Materials Futures in 2026.
The paper, titled “A criticality-aware design framework for sustainable magnetocaloric high-entropy alloys: the MnFeNiCuSi system,” presents recent CoCoMag advances in the development of sustainable magnetocaloric materials.
Being featured on the cover of the journal represents an important recognition of the scientific relevance and impact of the consortium’s research. The work highlights the importance of developing sustainable and environmentally friendly magnetic refrigeration solutions while addressing challenges related to the criticality of raw materials.
